Believe on Him Whom God has Sent!

At a very early time in my walk with the Lord I had a pastor who warned me and all who would listen, “each of you is responsible for your own walk, you must verify and spend time in the Word (Lord’s presence) to verify that I am being truthful. If you find that what I have said is not correct tell me, if I don’t listen, run away.”

The devil in Eden told Eve & Adam to question God’s Word. The devil basically said God created you with a brain use it. Many today place this thought ahead of “except you have faith as a little child you can not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” God gives us a brain to recognize what is God’s truth, and faith is placing His truth above our own reasoning, and our spending time with Him in His Word.

In today’s world there is a lot of confusion as to what is glorifying to God and His free Gift of Salvation. God very explicitly explains that Faith is the only way to heaven. And the very basis of Life and faith is our Savior (= The Word)… period.

There is a need to understand faith as a conviction of the heart. Walking rightly with the Lord in ALL things displays a heart of a little child, for God says except you have faith as a little child you can not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The world teaches to approach The Word with the opposite purpose of finding text to support their own thoughts, rather than going to the Word to find out what God’s Word actually says. There is only one command (order) to go into the world and preach the gospel and to guard that Word and Gospel. To add anything is to doubt God’s power and leads to a painful eternity.

Those who would promote their ability to come up with added steps other than the one charge to share the good news of the Gospel, end up in a bad place before the throne. Whole religions that call themselves Christian are built on a preconceived concept of their own ideas, resulting in the consequences outlined in  Matt 7: 21-23 (The whole section really)  “[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.   [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?   [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

This coupled with the words to live by in Romans 14:22 “Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.”

They that would follow their own heart and not the full letter of God’s Word are then what God calls false prophets!

In searching the scriptures daily I find the orders of our Lord being, “go into all the world and preach the gospel.” Not one place is the method taught in seminaries supported, where they say knock them down with the law and then salve over the wounds with the Gospel. God says the law is a curse.  God tells us to take up our cross and follow Him and trust Him to do the work of opening the heart, we are just the messengers. They that add steps to the gospel limit God and profess that they do not have faith in God’s power to turn hearts around.

Clearly there is not one place where God the Father or Jesus or any true follower of God, tells anyone to teach the law, which includes the commandments, as a necessary step to salvation.

Some people are confused by the KJV’s desire to establish the hierarchy of the church. The consistency of the KJV in translating of texts always the same way is the power of the KJV translation over all other translations extent today. Every other translation takes license and relegates new words for the same word in the Greek by not translating them the same every time. And all other translations since the 1800’s have gone so far as to remove the words like “θεος” “God” over 150 times, and many other inconsistencies.

In the KJV’s desire to establish that hierarchy the KJV also translates “εκκλησια” as church when it means “called out to Christ ones”, they use bishop instead of servant, and they use commandment instead of “order” or “charge”, adding to the confusion. The real word “church” only appears a handful of times in the Bible.

This sums up a big part of the walk as a Christian that all Christians should follow. The friendships we make are based on whether their belief or belief’s align with The Word. And the degree or percent of that alignment depends upon their percent of commitment to the truth, and likewise the depth of our relationship with that person.

For instance: Where does the situation leave us as Christians when we have a conflict?  The examples in scripture are many. Noah built a boat amid ridicule of the world for 100 years. The apostles each knew that pain and suffering was going to come, but they overcame any fear with the faith and trusting and knowing that the end result of any conflict could only go so far as to the loss of their lives on earth and would bring them home. “Take up your cross and follow me”’ that is faith.
