The Just Shall Live By Faith

18 Aug

The Number one greatest Joy in the world is knowing your Lord and Savior has your back and that your place in heaven is sealed and waiting. “The Just shall live by Faith” not only applies to Heaven and eternity, but how one approaches every day here on earth. Sadly the promotion of self, as being the most important, interferes with that path and knowledge. Promoting self changes the proper order of life. “Love thy neighbor as thyself” does not happen when you promote self.

Also the majority of churches today teach methods and ways to God and eternity, teaching that somehow by doing some sort of worship service, sacrificing a couple hours a Sunday to make a show before God has some merit. God says No, believe in your heart. This belief in your heart means that you truly place Him, His Word first in your heart, before mother, father, wife, husband, family, everything. God goes so far as comparing your love for Him as hatred for all else.

Luke 14:26If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” This placement of things in proper order in your life speaks to a higher love for all of the above as it teaches to others the true path to eternal peace and Joy in Heaven.

“The fear of God” is often misunderstood, the words mean respect and honor. Acts 10:22 “Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews”
Fear of God leads to love and joy, a joy of knowing your next step at home in Heaven, knowing that everything is paid for, that there are no worries. God shows us that it is as a little child whereby we are saved. A little child has no fear of not receiving anything but truth from its parent, the same as a child of faith, God‘s Word is the Truth! period!

Man always wants to do something to make himself feel good about doing something. In Mark 10:17 right after vs. 15 where Jesus says, ”Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” A rich man comes running up to Jesus and asks, “what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” Jesus knowing the man’s heart tests the man and says, (vs.19) “Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.” The Man replies, “Master, all these have I observed from my youth.” We already said Jesus knows what is in his heart, and Jesus tells him, “One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.” Matthew 13:22 Jesus talks of the deceitfulness of riches and here we see Jesus pointing out the condition of his heart, that he has succumbed unto that deceit that his wealth is the most important thing in his life, more important than heaven. Jesus is again teaching further through the recording of this man’s response the condition of the heart necessary that it be as a little child placing his trust in God ahead of trust in wealth, family, relationships on earth, everything in life!

Jesus again reinforces this by saying in vs. 24 “Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, “Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!” We see astonishment registered with His disciples, as his Words are directed at things of everyday use, not at earthly wealth. But at everything in the day to day that men would count as necessary for life.

And vs.25 Jesus again reinforces this by saying, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man (one who trusts in riches, the everyday things of life) to enter into the kingdom of God.”

The Astonishment in vs.26, “And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?” this shows the severity of the Words here, the wide eyed almost disbelief.
True to His every Word vs.27, And Jesus looking upon them saith, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Showing over and over, that it is impossible for any man to come to Jesus through any work that man can do, but only by the working of God in the heart to change the heart.
God even goes so much deeper in that He calls the “Chosen people” through whom the promised Savior would come, children of their father the Devil because they thought and preached that it was possible to be righteous by living The Law.
To further give understanding the Scriptures clearly show all of the meaning gone before as in vs.28 we see the understanding by Peter, “Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.”
And again in vs 29, “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, vs.30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”

Very clearly God gives direction in His word as to not only what faith is and looks like but how each of us can recognize it. The faith as a little child then is the tool by which we break down everything in our lives.
God tells us in Matt 7:16- that, “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
These words call for judging fruits, giving us the ability to stay away from evil and false prophets and warning friends and family about them. There are two types (and more when you look at the Greek) judging, Judging by convicting someone to hell, and judging the fruit that resonates with the path leading to hell. For instance there are true Christians within the catholic church (and every other church) but if one believes in the catholic rituals (or any other rituals) and rights as having any value for gaining heaven, then that is not where they will end up. John 7:22, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

One of my favorite passages in scripture Josh 24:15, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” is proceeded by Joshua telling the Israelites that they must choose whom they will serve. All through the prophets the choice to follow God is laid out for the receiver. Judgment is given as to the invalidity of their worship, and a call to turn around.

Today there is more of a call to fill the collection plate than there is a call to serve the Lord. Delving into the Word, John 1:1, Jesus Christ and finding out who He is and what He is about to gain a real relationship with Jesus is the last thing taught. What is made most important is that we have a display of some form that will be perceived as a walk with Jesus. But if you want a real relationship with Jesus dig into Him and His Word.

I’ve been asked if I attend any Church, my reply is no as Jesus is not invited in and where He is not allowed, I will not go. Where two or three are gathered together in my Name says the Lord, there am I in the midst of them.
Previous blog quote, Matt 7:23 “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Added to this is God telling us who are the recipients of these words in the Scripture before, verses 21-22 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
These are the saddest words of Scripture but who is it that will hear them from our Lord’s lips? It will be each of those who love his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, more than God, his place shall be among the weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We pray that each of you find a true relationship with our Lord and Savior!

Promotion of self interferes with the truths of God, blinding the eyes from knowing the truth.

God’s Truths
1. ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God. (2Timothy 3:16)
2. ALL scripture agrees with no contradictions (2Timothy 3:)
a. Many have gone to the Word seeking to validate their ides instead of seeking God’s Truth
b. Satan has through some altered the Word promoting translations that are supposed to be more clear but   instead change the meaning and even go so far as to remove the word God more than 100 times.
c. Instead of being servants of truth, pastors have become rulers
3. John 1:1 is clear if you want a relationship with God (Jesus), you go to the Word and the Word is God.
4. The word was made flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14)
5. The wages of sin is death (eternal) (Romans 6:23)
6. By grace are you saved through faith and not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8)
7. ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
8. Without Faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)
9. Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Romans 10:11)

2 Timothy 3:all – tells us of the last days: “1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”

For Many years we have read through the entire Bible each year and each time there is more and more revealed. Our prayer is that everyone reading this would take the time to get closer to God by reading His Word, for herein is Life Eternal!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16”
