Oh wretched man that I am

20 Apr

God’s Apostle Paul says these words in Romans 7:24, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Churchianity today teaches man that when they look into their hearts or within themselves they should see only good. This false doctrine would be the measure by which many are slain, they look at themselves with fear and are afraid to recognize the sin they see there.
But it is the cross of Christ that is the power of God. Oh thank God! for His Salvation through Christ who has washed me clean in my spirit. Humbly I see the unworthiness of my being but the joy of knowing that it does not matter how myself or others see me, my Lord has triumphed over my guilt and declared me righteous.
Not that I should wantonly commit sin but that through the knowledge of my Lord and Savior what waits for me is paradise, me the prodigal coming home to my Father’s mansion.
Wow what glorious Good News! What relief of life unfolding in the only Joy we can truly know, what lay on the other side of the door of the end here.
